pac os2 bose programming

A few weeks ago I replaced a Sirius antenna for a customer and he has recently started having a problem with his steering wheel controls not working. I did not change anything with the radio or radio wiring, but I still told him I would try to find a solution to his problem. The steering wheel controls seem to only work intermittently but rarely. He did say that it happened before and the shop that originally installed it (which has since closed) had to reset it... but I can't find anything about how to reset or reprogram it. I do not think there is any programming needed on the OS-2, but there is probably a PAC SWI-PS or an SWI-JACK used in conjunction with the OS-2.

I did not see anything additional besides the OS-2. It is connected to a Kenwood double din screen and I didn't even see a 'remote' input on the kenwood...Kenny

there has to be because the os2-bose doesnt have built in SWC. depending on what brand of radio is it there is either a wire that could be loose or a stereo input jack that may have a problem with it. are the connections soldered?

The connections were not soldered by the place that originally installed it, but I don't even see a connection for it.. which doesn't make any sense to me. I wasn't sure if maybe it was all done through the Class II data. But apparently not. I may just have to dig in there and see if it is hidden somewhere... Anyone know what method Kenwood screens use for a wired remote input? Is it a connector or a wire / group of wires?Kenny

I got it all figured out. There was a VERY well hidden SWI-JACK tucked way back in the dash. Once I got to it, I was able to look up the programming instructions and get everything programmed.Kenny
