I am going to be installing a small system in my 03 Sebring and have a question that im pretty sure I know the answer too but want to check anyway.
Chrysler decided they should hide the battery under the distributin/fuse & relay box and computers, etc. Only way to get to it is to pull the front wheel and splash sheild.
My question is do I need to run my 4awg amp wire direct to the battery or can I use the pos post that is up top for boosting off of and run it from there?
Normally I would never consider not going direct from the battery.

is the top post fused from the battery? the only problem i would see is if it was fused then adding an amp onto that line might blow the factory fuse. other than that i see no problem with using a post.

I'll have to double check if its fused. It's the jump start/ charging post so I'm not sure if they would fuse that or not?
