Ok, In my civic I will be running 2 amps and 1 cap and I am concerned with a remote wire lead.  I have the two remote wires run from the HU remote wire for the two amps and i was wondering if i could use the same remote wire to turn on the cap as well.  Here are the parts I am talking about

  • Rockford 1 farad cap with digital readout
  • rockford 550x
  • rockford 500bd

I know it is a simple question but i would like to know before i put everything together and then i have to run more wires.  which would suck

thanks in advance

Caps do not need a remote turn on lead. Just hook up the (-) and the (+) wires. The cap will automatically turn on and off when current is detected in the wires.
