me hook this up

I just recently blew my JL 500/1, and since I already had a couple of blown door speakers I decided to replace everything and break out some of my old equipment. Here's whet I have, and here's what my problem is. I have a newer Kenwood hu that only has two rca outs, a front and a rear/sub. I have a single din eq that only has one rca input, and three outs. Sub, Front and Back. I have a set of JBL GTO638 6.5" in the front doors and JBl GTO8628 6X8's in the back. I also have 3 10" JL W1V2's SVC and I just ordered a Planet Audio Apocalypse AC1800.5 My question is can I run all of this stuff safely and with decent power through this one amp, and can I have full control of my sound through the EQ. I've been out of the game for quite a while so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!If it's too loud, you're too old!

Looks like a 5-channel amp so sure it is designed to power two sets of mains and a subwoofer. What is the net impedance of your subwoofer system and is it high enough for the sub channel on the amp to remain stable? As far as running everything through the EQ, it seems like you can assuming the "front" output of the head unit is full range and you can defeat any subwoofer crossover inside the head. Connect it to your EQ and connect the three outputs from the EQ to your amp. You will have to be very careful setting your gain properly - does the EQ have a gain adjustment?Support the12volt.com

I guess I should mention I don't have the amp in hand yet, should be here this week. From what I've read it has all the gain adjustments and bells and whistles you could ever want, my eq however, does not have a gain. I believe the sub section of the amp is 2 ohm stable, so I guess since I have 3 4ohm subs I may have to drop a sub and just go with 2.If it's too loud, you're too old!

depending on what kind of eq your kenwood has built in and the brand and quality of your 1/2 Din EQ i might suggest that you leave out the 1/2 din eq. if it isnt a good quality eq then it probably isnt worth installing. low quality equalizers tend to have noise problems among other things so if your kenwood has a decent eq that it wouldnt be worth the trouble to install another eq.
