I own a '97 Subaru Outback.. I just put in my Pioneer AVH-X2500BT now from what I understand I can use spacers for the magnets to clear the front door windows but I'm not too sure which speakers to pick, the size is 6 1/2" I was looking at the Polk Audio db651 speakers, the music I listen to is pretty mixed so it makes it hard to pick.

Go listen to as many different pairs as you can that will fit, then pick the ones that sound best to YOU.

those polks are a good choice for entry level speakers. they sound pretty nice and they have a pretty balanced sound. everybody has their own idea of what sounds good so like 12volt said go listen to some speakers and try to bring a disc or mp3 player with music that you listen to so you can hear the speakers playing music that you are used to listening to.

Best advice you can get. And take along your favorite CD when you go shopping. :)
