I just installed a aftermarket receiver in my Pickup truck, because the original unit ate one of my CD's, plus it did not seem to receive signal correctly and sounded mushy until A/C cooled off the interior of the vehicle.
I installed a aftermarket receiver (Jensen MP 1524) and it does the same thing, but if you play a CD, it works fine from the start (hot interior or not).   Antenna problem???
