Hey all

My honda just recently decided that the constant +12V to the clock and stereo wasn't going to work anymore. I would like to know if this +12 is fused, and if so, where?

Well, did you check the fuse box under the dash? I'm not sure about your model of Civic, but over here, the fuse box is under the driver's side dash. I guess you could check the fuse for the clock and the one for the radio.

Hey

Yeah i checked the fuse box under the dash, and under the bonnet, and there is only a fused for the switched power for the radio, not one for the constant, that is why i was asking if anyone knew of another fuse.

Well, I was going to suggest the fuse box under the hood as well, but then you said "bonnet"...so I'm thinking that's the same thing 1993 Honda Civic wiring -- posted image.

Another thing you might want to try is to check other fuses as well. I'm just going by what happened to me...somehow I blew the larger (40amp) fuse for the blower fan (for the air conditioning and heater), and that made my radio stop working....even though the fuse under the dash was fine for my radio. That one took me a while to figure out. When I replaced the broken fuse for the fan, the radio worked again, too. Go figure.
