I think that a pair of RF Punch subs sound pretty good.  They are fairly cheap too.  You might be able to find a deal for a pair of subs right around $100-$120. Just watch for deals!

Im a Diamond Audio fan so naturally i go with theirs. Entry level sub, CM3 series, about $130 each in my area, 500 watt rms, dual voice coil, double stacked magnet. To me it rates up there with some big dogs from other brands.

One that dont take as much abuse but still kicks butt for the price, JL Audio W0 series, havent priced none lately but they are very reasonable and sound great.

I ran a pair of Fosgate RFP3412 HE's before my last upgrade that were hitting apx 142db. They run about $90-110 per sub, but you can find better deals if you know where to look (and want to take the risk!)
