Are you trying to install an aftermarket stereo in there? Are the factory plugs still intact?

I'm curious as to why you need the illumination when you're installing a CD changer? i highly recommend against hooking up this wire unless it's absolutely necessary.

Pink/black is +12 volts constant (memory)--just pick one of the factory wires

RED / white is +12 volts switched (power)

Black is ground (just pick one of the factory wires)

Orange is illumination

To avoid damage to the vehicle's electronics or to the cd changer, and for safety reasons, I highly recommend that you use a mutimeter to test these wires BEFORE you connect to them.
