I Just put a Kenwood DNX-994S in my 06 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. I put a PAC SWI-RC module to retain my steering wheel controls, I also found out that it does not retain the door chimes and the R.A.P. I have found a Metra LC-GMRC-01 Module to retain the door chimes and RAP. My question is can i put both modules on the same radio's data bus without any problems or Malfunctions? If i use diodes to isolate each Modules will the data bus still work? sorry if this is a repeat topic.

No diodes needed. They will work fine with each other. You can use the Pink wire of the LC-GMRC01 to connect to the wire used by the SWI-RC. The color of that wire may be pink, but whatever their instructions say.

I already have the PAC module installed, so i can just follow the instructions for the Metra install. Cool! Thanks for the info.
