I have a 2016 F250 with the mid-level AM FM CD player. Not long after I got the truck the Bluetooth stopped working the XM radio still works and the volume still works and all the controls on the radio still work except for the Bluetooth of course but if I try to push Bluetooth to make a call it will not work whatsoever neither will the controls on the steering wheel at all. I'm just curious if anyone suggest whether it's the radio or the sync module under the dash. I hate to buy one from a scrap yard and it be the other. Also does anyone know if I will have to get the system reprogrammed if I buy a new sync module or radio. Thanks for your opinion guys and gals.

Remove the ground cable from both batteries for a few minutes. Re connect and let us know if that helped.

I did that and I also pulled the fuse to the radio and the batteries and I also disconnected the sync module for about 12 hours and the batteries and it didn't help

The steering wheel controls interface directly to the radio. Since the BT is also not working, I suspect it is the radio that is the source of the issues.
A replacement radio won't require any reprogramming.

Any idea if my XM Radio ID will change if I change the head unit or is that all programmed in the sync module.

XM ID is from the radio
