what up.long time looker.can i jus power my high-to-low converter off my amps power wire?o its a scosche loc2sl.

You can. Also install a fuse inline.

ok here it is.ive never had to use one of these converters.So factory head unit(99 ford contour)scosche loc2sl is tha high low converter.Kicker 1000.1 on a power acoustic 12 walmart special.my problem is i taged the inputs for tha converter from rear speakers,found my 12v constant,grounded it well.Hook up remote to amp.well long short of it is the light on tha amp is like its flashing with tha audio signal.

Verify that the black/blue wire from the radio is switched with the key. Use that to feed your amp turn on instead of the LOC's output.
