Hello, i am new to the forum and this is my first post.
i design and build custom audio systems for off road vehicles, mainly sxs like the Polaris Rzr.
The enclosures I build are an open baffle design with multiple coax drivers in 1 enclosure, My questions are what volumes are recommended for 6.5" coax speakers?
would I benefit if I used baffles on each coax speaker. The speakers I have chosen to use are the Polk Audio DB+652. They seem to be very good and I am satisfied with them but how could I make them better?
Thanks in advance for any responses.
I have attached a picture of a few of my enclosures What Volume and/or Size Baffles for 6.5'' Coax Speakers? -- posted image.

Anyone have enclosure volumes that work best for 6.5" coaxials?

On a couple previous cars I owned, I used XTC brand baffles in the front doors and rear deck for my speakers and they worked great! Got them from Crutchfield pretty cheap. They still sell them! They have a couple different depths and they're only $8 a pair. Those are the only brands I've tried so I can't say anything about other brands. Actually I wasn't that happy with the sound quality using baffles, but I only used them to protect the speakers. The front door speakers I wanted to keep from getting wet if rain got down inside the doors, and the rear speakers I used baffles so when I slammed the trunk lid closed the pressure didn't damage my 6x9's.
