What is the difference between and Dual 4 ohm sub and just a 4 ohm sub?what is the load if i hook two Dual 4 ohm subs in paralell?

Dual 4 ohm sub ( AKA DVC ) are woofers with two separate voice coils mounted on a cylinder connected to a common cone. These are most often interconnected so as to allow the woofer to handle a lower impedance load at it's optimal power capacity.

A single 4 ohm sub ( AKA SVC ) are subs that only have one voice coil ( single set of (+) & (-) terminals.

2 DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Parallel / Parallel

	Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1 Ohm

2 DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Series / Parallel

Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofer: 4 Ohms
