I have an eclipse 3422 and and eclipse in dash 6 disk to a eclipse 21010 EQ , then I have a clarion video processor all this goes to 3 amps, tsunami 440db, lanzar vibe 250, and a PPI 2240, these amps are pushing 2 fosgate punch 8 ohm woofers, 1- 12" fosgate he2 2ohm sub in Q-logic sealed box, 2- 4x 10 sony 3way speakers, 2- 4 1/2" side 3rd seat speakers, 2 fosgate headliner tweeters, 2- 5 1/4" sony explode 3 way door panel speakers(front doors), 2- 1 1/2" center console mounted tweeters(Kenwood), 2- Kenwood 4 1/2" 3 way door panel speakers(2nd seat), and 2- 1" tweeters in front door panel.  I have circuit breakers on line to each amp. Presently I have all speakers hooked up between the 3 amps.  Should I have any to the head unit?  I wanted to be able to control the levels by the eq only.  Is that enough power..Lanzar 1000watts soley to 12" sub, lanzar runs all non woofer speakers and PPI runs 8" subs.  I also have an older coustic electronic crossover, should I use that and if so how to hook that up with what I have?  Can someone please give me a correct wiring diagram for my system..I.e.  rca set #1 from line out on eclipse to eq input, then eq out put rca's to amp 1,2,3 or to video amp(clarion) I have a performance teknique flip down overhed monitor, should I use digital audio cables?  Basically I need a point A, to point B, to point C...wiring form beginning to end..thanks for any help....

If you want to use an external EQ to control your sound you have to use external amplifiers as well.  So no you should not have any speakers running off the head unit.

Your head unit does have three sets of preamp outputs but if you really want to just use the external 21010 EQ then just use one set of the preouts from your head unit.  I think you can make one set be an input (don't know how you do this but I think you just switch a setting on the unit itself).  Anyways just make sure you make one set inputs and hook up your dvd player or tv tuner or whatever is your video source, so that you can have the audio from the video source play through your head unit (and thus your whole system).

Anyways for the output to the EQ you'll just pick one set of the RCAs on the back of the eclipse and ensure they're set to output and not input.  The EQ should only have one set of RCA inputs so it's pretty easy to figure it out.

I don't know how many sets of preamp OUTputs the EQ has but I'm assuming it has 3, one for hi's, mids, and lows.  Just run an RCA cable from each amp to its appropriate output on the back of the EQ.

What is the clarion video amp for?  If I read your post correctly you only have one monitor, right?  If that's the case you really don't need a video amp unless you plan on adding one or two more monitors in the future.

Hey thanks for the reply,

I have a rosen 5.6" tft tv I was thinking about installing in the head rest of the third row(99' suburban).  How do I let the kids listen to movie on wireless headphones and still be able to listen to my radio..(video amp)...Any suggestions on what speakers run to what amp and how to wire them..presently the vibe pushes the HE2 12". the PPI pushes the 2 10" 8 ohm fosagate punches(bridged output on all three 12", 2-10"), and the tsunami 440db 4 channel pushes all the smaller speakers listed above..I have a alpine mrh255 amp and a orion 420 GT amp, should I use any of those or not?  I also am running a fosgate punch 1.0 capacitor to the HE2..Any suggestions?  What about the Coustic XM3 mobile crossover?  Do I need that?  I thought I would run the lows with that and all the mids and highs with the Eclipse 2100 eq..what do you all think?
