I was curious if anyone knew how I would be able to install a cd player into the storage pocket in the front console of a 92 cutlass, instead of in the factory stereo spot.

just extend the wires from the factory wire harness to the new location take out the pocket and just trim to fit...I was going to do that on a customers 93 Cutlass today but he didn't want it there...go figure :) You might have to gut that whole section ie heater controls and what not because those cars aren't very pleasent to work on , space wise, just to make it easier on ya.

Well, that's what I was already working on, but the problem is, I can't trim it to fit, because it's already too big.  I need some way of making the CD Player fit without moving around alot.  Any ideas?
