I just want to get opinions on all three of these types. I have never really heard a Mmats or Eclipse subwoofer. i hear they are good but i want to get other peoples opinion. I really like kicker but if i can get a better sub for a better deal i want that. I have about 1400 dollars to spend on subwoofers and amplifiers. We have a jackass drug dealer in our town that has a explorer with 4 15 inch l7's and 2 kx1200.1's and a 600.1 goin to all these subs and he is only hittin 155 dB!!!!!! I am thinkin that his box or sumthin has to be messed up. I would think they would be louder than that. But any opinions will help me out alot. Thanks.

mmats amps will pretty much annihilate the kicker or eclipse amps, so when you are looking for amps, I would go that route...the l7 is probably going to be the louder of those 3 particular subs, as much as it pains me to say that the l7 would be better...
why are you limited to these 3 brands in particular? local availability? there are better products on the market for the same dollar if you shop around or shop via the net...

Anywayz, what are some of those better products? If they are better and them same price then ill go w/ them. Thanx for the help.

SPL --did a lot of research this past year and im very impressed with there product. ive used audiobahn for awhile but i just wasnt achieving that bump so recently i switched all my equipt. to SPL very happy i was..  im sure there amps will give you more than enough power to pound your subs than you could ever imagine

http://www.splusa.net    there product is farely cheap compared to other high name brand suppliers

also what does anybody think about the jl audio w7 13.5 inch??? i heard that in the right box setup corectly that sub can pound as hard as two 15's. I also looked at a jl audio w7 10 inch and they said that they entered a local bass comp and hit 159.9 dB with one 10!!! thats amazing to me. Well i mihgt hsve to do some more research out there to see what is better can anybody suggest any subs that might pound harder than a l7???? Thanks

Wes

doubleduece Personally I would go with the Eclipse Titanium subs. Each sub will put out as much bass as 2 l7's due to their huge amounts of excursion, and they still have a good mix of SQ. you should be able to pick them for around $400 each here is a review that was done. I have heard quite a bit about them, so they really are that awesome?? One sub would hit as hard as 2 l7's!! Thats pretty mean. But what you mean is one 15" Eclipse would hit as hard as 2 15" l7s? Im kinda strapped for cash, but if they are really that bad, then i guess i could do $400 a sub. I found 2 l7 15's, $450 for both. Maybe Ebay will have the Eclipse's for cheap. But i really like kicker, and thats prob what i will end up with, but i would still like to look around. Is it true that the Eclipse 18 has 3.5 in of xmax? Also, has anyone ever hear of the program winISD? It is a box building software i downloaded for windows and it is really confusing. Any help with this program would be great.

Thanx- Trey

I helped on the construction of one of MMATS Spl demo vehicles, we used a couple of juggernaut speakers...GAWD DAM....if you have ALOT of power those speakers will not let you down.
