Jeep Wrangler subwoofer problem

Sounds like what you need is an adapter to send the remote turn signal from your new head unit to the amp.  It's just a matter of finding the right wire to connect to.   Your local dealer should be able to tell you which wire it is (should be only one) or you could possibly try an interface adapter that helps to intergrate factory amplifiers with aftermarket head units. Scosche makes an adapter that may want to look at.

Duane, you were right. It is a powered sub and I just needed to connect one additional wire. In this case, the power antenna wire (from the Pioneer) works just fine. I've got my bass back! Thanks for the help.

No problem dude. but one other thing...your head unit should also have a remote turn on wire as well.  Because you may lose your bass when you change sources, for example: changing from your tuner to the cd.  I would check to make sure

Yeah, Duane, I misspoke when I referred to the power antenna lead. That's what it's called in the wiring diagram but I did use the remote turn on (from the new head) to power the sub. Works great in all modes. Thanks again.
