I just got my Pioneer TS-C160Rs and i am planning on putting the woofers in kick panels, but i am unsure where to put the tweeters.  I have heard many different things.  I have heard to put them on my dash, put them near my woofers, put them in my doors and i have heard to put them on the back side of my rear view mirror.  I have a regular cab truck and am wondering where would be the best location for the best sound.

In my Explorer they mounted my tweeters in the a-pillars down by the corner of the windshield and dashboard area aimed up towards the rear-view mirror.

The best place to put em is where you'd like to hear them the best. Highs are directional (where bass usually is non directional) so you kind of want them pointing toward your ears.  You say you have a regular cab truck-what year and make is it?  You may want think about maybe putting them in the door panels or in the A Pillars. If you don't want to cut your pillars or door panels, try placing them at the top of the A pillars and tilt them down slightly..

My truck is a 89 gmc sierra, if this info gives you a better idea of a different spot, great.  If not it sounds like my tweeters will be going in the a-pillars.  thanks for the help.

A pillars would be my first suggestion, but I have heard of people putting them in the heater vents
