Hello, I'm looking for a car stereo installer in Chicago, or neaby. Can anyone make a recommendation for someone who does good work for an honest buck? The project is '87 turbo carrera. a/d/s amp, alpine, cd-changer,etc. Nothing terribly fancy.

why not do it yourself????? just outta curiosity.......i think doin installs is half the fun of havin the system......plus you learn so much when your doing it........and on top of it all.......when ppl ask about your system, you can tell em with pride "yea.....i did that myself!"

Hey Noob, I've have done my share of installs. I would rather spend my time doing other things now. My last install was +15 yrs ago in a 280Z, I think the guys who do this for a living have a better shot at getting the job really done right. I'm ok with that.
