I use to sell Earthquake back in 94, and I can tell you from much experience that they are pretty awesome. Back then I sold them mainly because they were cheaper than most other brands and performed better than the big boys as far as SPL is concerned. These days they are just as expensive as the others, but the their Magma subs are real monsters. As far as the amps go, it doesnt get much better than the D2 (aka Shredders) for raw power. Ask anyone who competes regularly, and they'll tell you theyve seen more than their share of D2's. I dont know how they are now with sound quality, but back then they were fair. Last year I put 2 magma 12s with a D2 in a buddies car and he murderd his brothers 12' L7's.  If your looking for raw spl, and you have the air space to support them, I'd say give them a shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised. One word of advice with the magmas.....double up on the 3/4" mdf, I have personally seen these subs blow out weak boxes. To this day I am continually impressed with their products, the only reason they havent gotten more people to carry them is because their dealer service sucks, which is why I stopped carrying them years ago......I hope this helps.

What kind of air space do they require? i have a 00 mustang and they arent famous for lots of trunk space.
Thanks for the help!

Ive found they work best in 2-3 ft3 ported, but Earthquake's "optimal" enclosures are slightly smaller. Check em out at www.earthquakesound.com
