I was wondering how to power my 250 watt amp in the trunk of my 1999 Ford Taurus LX, the sub is already in it's box and everything's wired for that. In my old setup (1991 Chevy S-10), I had the amp wired directly to the battery terminal, I was wondering if there is any wireing A: in the trunk i could hook up to, or B: is there any wireing in the ignition area thingy i can use. I have no idea what I'm doing, but i was able to put in the adapter for a standard stereo (yay for me) and do the UN-wireing of my truck (yay for me again), BUT I could use a lot of help for this project, I'd rather not take it in to Magnolia Hi-Fi.

Your best bet is to get an 8-gauge amplifier installation kit. And yes, you want to get the power directly from the battery.
