Ive been asked to do a hea dunit install in a 79 trand am.  I'm assuming that it will have to be hardwired? also what about the antenna, is there an adapter or no need for one?  any tips would be great.

Did it have a radio in it?

at that point i think there would be harnesses,,,but im not sure with that car.

other wise you'll have to run speaker wires and then find a constant and 12volt switched wire. then your set.   you have to have some sort of antenna...or else you'll get nothin.

I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

Antenna wire is the one thing that has pretty much stayed the same over the years so should be in the dash and just plug into the back of the radio. Probably right on the hard wiring part. I know when i had a cd player put in a 77 el camino it didnt have any plugs.
