Does any one know where I can get a install kit for an after market headunit for a 2000 Land Rover Discovery? I tried the 2003 Metra catalog, but they don't have any listing for any Land Rovers. I have seen one pic on sounddomain that had a pioneer 8500 installed with what looked like a install kit. I can't get ahold of the owner though.

is your radio double din in size? if so it may just be a ISO mount with a pocket attatched to the factory brackets.

The Discovery uses a 1.5 DIN opening.  Neither Scosche nor Metra make a kit specifically for that truck that I can find.  I suggest you go to a good installation shop and see if a generic 1.5 DIN kit would fit in your dash.

HI,  ok,  most likely being a 2000, this should be discovery 2 model.  That is a standard single DIN opening (assuming its the Alpine OEM deck).  There are no kits for this. The face of the radio is misleading, it appears DIN and a half , but when you remove the radio, it will reveal a DIN opening.

Hope this helps.
