This might sound like a stupid question, but i just ordered 2 audiobahn alum15x subwoofers, and i was wondering what the specs were so i can have a box built, and i was wondering what the best amp would be to use, thanks for your help.

http://www.audiobahninc.com/tech/2001.pdf I would suggest you use a 1.5 cu/ft sealed enclosure. As far as the amps go those subs are difficult to find an amp for. They are 6 Ohm DVC subs and 1100 watts rms each. You will need to find an amp that puts out 2200 watts rms @ 1.5 ohms. What is your budget for amp(s)?

Time to send the subs back... I can already picture the problems that lie in wait for you. While they are good subs, they will not do what they are designed to do unless you power and use them properly. If your leaving yourself short on the amp, this will no doubt create more headaches for you. If you had bought them at a store, the salesperson should have found out what you need instead of what you want and he / she could have informed you of the potential pitfalls with these subs, if you buy on the net, well you get what you pay for and in most cases, you get what you want instead of what you need.

That would be your best bet. What is your total budget ( subs and amp)?

If you can save a little more I would suggest you go with 2 Eclipse aluminum subs http://www.eclipse-web.com/products/speaker/index.html They are some of the best subs you will find and put out tons of bass and SQ. 1 of Eclipse Aluminum will  put out more bass then both of the Audiobahn Alum's combined. As far as an amp for them I would suggest a JBL 1200.1.Depending on the area you live in you could probably get the set up above for around $1,100 a little more money but well worth saving for.
