Hello out there in install land, time for another plea for help. I have an ADS power plate 80 amp, and was wondering if it was possible to bridge it. I have a power plate 40 which has a bridge mode switch, but the 80 does not. Is it a simple matter of "y"-ing the input and using the two positive outputs, or is there more to it than that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are quite a few stereo amps that simply cannot be bridged. Oftentimes, this is because the amp has a separate power supply for each channel. Some of the old PPI amps couldn't be bridged for this reason.

I couldn't find any information on an 80-watt a/d/s Power Plate amplifier. Is there a model number you could give us, like PH80 or anything like that?

The amp says P80 on the bottom, no other model info. If you have a source for ADS info, I'd love to know what it is. I am installing four of these low power wonders in my Volvo. Thanks for the reply. VM
