Hi all,

I am interested in upgrading the stereo on my 72 Cutlass convertible. I definitely do not want to hack up the dash, nor do I have ape-like arms to install the stereo in the glove box. The Secret Audio unit from Custom Autosound looks like a good solution. I am interested in your collective opinion on the unit. Especially reliability. It is a convertible, so audio perfection is not achieveable anyway.

Hey Brett, the Autosound CD players and head units are OK. The finish of thse unit are not the best ( only chrome painted plastic ) and the SQ from the RCA's are not the best. If you want OEM look, then this is the best bet, but as far as reliability goes, the ones that I have installed are still working and no complaints yet, other than the finish being cheap.
