I had 2 audiobahn alum15q subs, i was planning to run them off of a JBL 1200. But my plans were shot to hell, seeing as those subs are 6ohm DVC. So i sold the subs to my local shop for 210 each, $40 more than what i paid for them i might add, anyway, one of my friends that works there sold me an American Bass XD1200 mono amp. My question is what kind of 15s should i buy to run with this sub? im trying to acheive a high SPL.

Thanks,

Nick

Yeah but, even running 1.5 ohms, it was only hitting 141....Can you think of any subs a little cheaper than eclipse, plus there are no eclipse retailers in my area.

I might buy eclipse offline, what kind of amp, and box are you using with that 15. See everything is goin into my expedition, i might compete a little bit this summer, thats why i need to get my SPL up there 150 plus. If i get 2 aluminum 15's what type of amp would i have to run, right now i have a JBL 1200 and an American bass 1200.

I would suggest trying the alpine mrd-m1000.You could also get 2 mrd-m500s (obviously) Im running the m500 and its amazing. EXTREAMLY efficient and just a great amp. The box im using is a totally fiberglass one i made. Ill try to get some pics up soon.
