The Kenwood MP3 are amoung the fastest on the market, hard to tell the burnt mp3 from a real cd.  More speed, try the keg.

Kenwood is not that slow but be very careful when playing a MP3 or WMA cd.  There is some sound differences in the CD.  It is not quality differences but MP3 and WMA cd's seem to play a little louder.

How loud or a quiet an MP3/WMA CD depends on how you encode it. Most programs allow you to adjust the volume, normalize the volume, and other things like that. You just have to mess around with it until you find the settings you like.

Any head units support MP3Pro yet?

You could always drop a computer into your trunk and get an in-dash LCD. Actually that's what I plan on doing with mine, I'll let you guys know when I have it setup. Except I have a Grand Am with the GM one and half din head unit so I'm going to see how big of an LCD I can fit in there.

Hope you find a head unit you like and if you want any more information on putting a computer in your car just ask me for check out mp3car.com.
