Have not got time to solve this one myself, it's the chicks bday, so my rookie is trying to solve this one. 2004 Chev PU xcab with delco bose system. Adding an amp / sub system. The sub system works fine with an aftermarket head powering it, this was done to test the system. He has tried 2 amplifiers (with built in LOC) and 2 outboard LOC. When hooked up to the stock head, the subs give a steady beat - beat - beat along with the tunes, he tied into the rear speaker leads. All wiring methods he has tried has given him the same results. Alpine amp and scosche hi - lo adaptor FAI3, I'm outta here right now, any replies for Geoff would be appreciated.

Where did he tag the LOC at? If he did it at the deck then that would be the problem. You need to tag them after the amplifier. You can get them in the front kickpanels in the harness going to the door for the fronts.

just find the amp and you'll see wires twisted together in 2's these are the output wires going to the amp.....those are what you'll need to tag the LOC into

LOC was added after the amp, continuity was checked, no wires going to ground, speaker was attached to the new leads, worked fine, just that infernal noise whenever we use the LOC, either built into the amp or separate.
