What up, i'M GOING TO PUT 4 tens in my vw golf. I know sealed boxes are tighter and cleaner while ported is basicaly looser and louder. I was wondering if I put 2 in each kind of box when I play something other than rap will the 2 in the enclosed box make the music sound good or will they get drowned out by the other two. And when i do listen to something other than rap it won't be real loud. If your wondering the subs are 1000q audiobahn pushed by an hct 1500. thanks

really these subs arent ment for sealed enclosures. so i would go with a ported box. ya it'll be alot boomier and louder, but depending on the amp or car deck you have you can adjust the bass so you can listen to your easy listening material such as wionna judd or w/e you listen to! haha. or jazz or something :p

sorry, my mistake, it is recommended as sealed. :P but still though. a sealed box does produce big bass. and you can still adjust the bass from your amp/deck too. and also your losing about a 100 watts when you put the subs into a ported box. so its your choice really :p and what you can do is put them all in a single chamber, braced box rather than having them in each chamber! :P

I would mount them in a sealed enclosure. i would make sure that you have 4 separate chambers for one box. This makes the box much stronger and also if one sub fails, you can still listen to your tunes. 4 10's in a golf  = I CAN"T HEAR YOU!
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

only 1 problem .... that amp is a 1 ohm amp and there is no way to end up with a 1 ohm load at the amp with all 4 of those subs connected because those subs are dual 4 ohm subs

but you could wire them to where you end up with a 2 ohm load at the amp in which the amp will make 1000 watts but not the 2000 that it is capable of
