Helloeveryone. Ive got a problem with an amp and woofer I just installed in my car. The amp is a small Jensen amp (Walmart Special) and an MTX sub. The problem is I get this pop that comes from the sub every time I turn the stereo on, change stations, go from cd to stereo or vice versa, and turn the stereo or car off. Ive checked the connections and they seem good. Ive got the amp under the drivers seat and the ground goes to the seat mounting bolt. I was wondering if it could be the ground. Where do you guys ground to?

It is most likely the ground.  Seat mounting bolts are not a good ground point.  Drill a new hole directly into the car's chassis, if you can, being sure to scrape away ALL paint and primer.  It is also possible that your amp is just noisy.

Thanks DYohn-I was suspecting a ground problem. I'm gonna change it this weekend. I'll repost if it doesn't fix it.
