Im working on my girlfriends stereo and trying to salvage what i can from her brothers attempts.  He toatally cut the wires on the OEM adapter so im stuck trying to figure out wire combo's.  The haynes manual won't give me anything.

Anyways i got that the orange is my constant 12v+ , Yellow is my switched 12v+, and ground.  I was testing power to see if it all worked and it turned on for like 2 seconds then quit.  I was like 94’ Saturn SL1 Stereo -- posted image. .  The fuses are fine that i know of.  Any help on that would be nice.  I just want it to stay on

Anything would help me out soo much.  She's been stuck with no music for 3 weeks.

If he cut off the factory harness for the radio, it's a good possibility he cut off the harnesses to the speakers.  Check the speakers to ensure they're not grounding out to metal somewhere.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
