eclipse hu problem

im havin problems with my eclipse hu when i turn off the car the hu stays on i tried pushing power to turn it of it says goodbye but the lights stay on it was workin fine yesterday morning. before it messed up it turned off completely and turned on again and now it wont turn of can anyone help and tell me what it might be want to have it back on by the weekend

Have you tried pressing the reset button on the front yet, it is a small hole that has a switch in it, use a paperclip end and press the button once, this will reset the microprocessor. If the problem still exists first check wiring, if it is still bad, then time for a warranty claim.

i rewired it checked everithing and i forgot to mention that its in but it wont give no feedback i put a cd in it it plays it but u cant hear it  now i hooked up a blaukpunt hu and it plays but the subs keep making this thumpin noise that sounds like a heart beat i have to press the reset buton i forgot it was there is there anything else that can be wrong with it and why does it make the thumping noise?

please help

the hu wont play anithing either i put in a cd and it will play it but it wont give no feedback i put in my old hu its a blaukpunt and everything work but the only thing now is that the subs make a thumpin noise kinda like a heart beat wich it didnt make before can anyone tell me why or what might be wrong with the eclipse i havent got to press the reset button ill install it again and see wat happens when i press it but does anyone have anymore ideas please help

Disconnect all the rca cables, The thumping from the amp usually points to an amp problem, let's leave it alone for now. Disconnect all the speakers from the cd player, I imagine that you are using the amp in the cd player. Do you have a meter?

ok i got the thumpin noise to stop it was the remote cable i pressed the reset button but nothin happens.no i dont have a meter any other ideas

Disconnect all speaker wires and hook up one speaker at a time, do you have sound on either tuner or cd now? You may have one speaker that is going to ground throwing the entire system into protection. If you get no sound at all, the service depot will be your new friend.
