I am putting a sub box in my 1996 Chevy using the stock stereo. It has six speakers (2 in each door and 2 in the back). I am putting the amp under the drivers seat, and the sub box under the back seat. Can I tap into the speaker wires that I think are under the floor panel on the driver side. What color are the wires? I have a hi - lo converter. Thanks

The rear speaker wiring codes are: Left rear + is brown;
left rear - is yellow; Right rear + is dark blue; Right rear - is light blue.
