Is it a punch or power series? Black or Grey?

It's a punch amplifier, 90 watts X 2 rms @ 4 ohm minimum, 360 watts X 1 rms @ 4 ohm mono. What do you need to know about it? Do not run it at 2 0hm mono, it will die a horrible death, just like all Bose quipment should.

that's exactly what i needed to know. So if i get a DVC 4ohm sub I would have to wire the coils in serries at 8ohms. that means 180watts RMS ... way too small for the Alpine SWR-1241D that i want to get

how much do you think i could get for this amp if i sold it (perfect condition)?

Why not keep the amp and use it for the front speakers? It is a 2001 model and sold for $679.00 CDN. It is worth maybe $200.00 CDN as a "new" old model now.

yea, i was jsut thinking about using it for my new 6x9s and lower the gain (about half way).

I was also thinking that i could use the amps ful potential. I could each channel of the amp into 8 ohms. Put one 6x9 in serries with one 6.5 (45 watt RMS on the 6x9 and 40watt RMS on the 6.5) The only problem with that is that i would be losing the fade controll.

Or is it possible for me to bridge the front and rear connectors from my head unit? then use that to power my 6.5s and then the amp for the 6x9

No you cannot bridge the output of a cd player. I would use the 360.2 on the front speakers and use deck power for the rear speakers.
