Put a Kenwood 119 in a 99 Pontiac Grand AM. The Kenwood is a base model, with no illumination. After the installation, the dash lights that illuminate the instrument cluster stopped working. There are 2 orange wires on the factory harness, and the illumination wires on the aftermarket harness have been capped off with heat shrink. I have checked ALL the fuses, including under the hood. Is there a relay somewhere that controls these lights, or has anyone ever ran into a problem like this.

What brand and part number harness do you have. Also, tell me what colors you have on the factory side of the orange wires.
