Would this sub and amp work together

Couldnt I just put the amp in stero then wire the left and right channels to the seperate voice coils? I'm a newbie

Yes you can. If you wire the voice coils in parallel to the amp it will give you a 2 ohm load to the amp. In this case 225 watts per coil.  If you wire the sub in series then you get an 8 Ohm load or probably about 75 watts per coil but it would work.  Hope this helps.
