Since CV was purchased by Stanton (the turntable folks) the assembly of their loudspeakers has moved out of the US and their quality has gone down.  But the V-Max is still a decent low-cost loudspeaker.

Put each one in a sealed 1.25 CUFT enclosure.  Your speakers are rated at 300 watts RMS and your amp produces 750 watts into 4 ohms.  What's the impedence on your speakers? (DVC? SVC? which version do you have?)

DVC, great, but at what impedence?  DVC 4-ohm or DVC 2-ohm???

To hook these to your 1501bd amp, you'll need to run two in series (300W + 300W) so they can handle the power output of that amp.  You'll want to run them at 4 ohms each, in series for 8 ohms in a pair.  Then parallel the two pairs to the amp for 4 ohm load on the amp.  That is, if you subs CAN be wired at 4-ohms.

Give me the ratings on your sub's voice coils!
