Well, its been 2 years since panasonic claimed that they would be releaseing a navigation system that integrated with ehe v7300-u indash multimedia system. I went looking around and found that in the Uk

plenty of the nav units exits. They seem to be running navtech software. Anyone know the answers to the following questions.
#1. will the uk units connect up to the us 7300 via the rgb DIN cable?
#2. assuming that they would, couldnt you just buy american navtech dvd's to run the system?
Also, anyone know of a universal nav system that can be controlled via a dash mounted IR eye, and dash mounted microphone? and simple connect into the system via simple video/left/right rca jacks into a aux input?
Thanks

I'm looking into the pioneer avic-505, I believe it has a rgb connector adn not the rca's Im looking for, however, I located the below information somewhere, anyone know if it is correct for the avic-505 as well?

I/O connector Pioneer LD-700/LD-7000

(Saku Taipale)

This is the I/O connector on the LD-700 (should be same as LD-7000):

  7 1 4a b c i g h

First, the functions of these pins (from LD-700 manual, so direction is from the LD-700's perspective):

PIN DIR NAME 1 I INT/ /EXT 4 O /EXT ACK 7 I	EXT CONTROL a -	GND (this is also the shielding) b O +11V (do not use as a powersource) c O RF g - NC h - NC i O VIDEO (75 Ohm)

Note: the pin numbering is taken from the Pioneer PX-7 manual. A bought plug for the I/O connectors may have a different numbering! To connect the LD to the MSX, you only need the numbered pins:

? thanks
I shoul dbe able to breakout the left right and video rather easy? We are talking low level output here?
