I am working on this truck with a cd8443 eclipse deck. His remote wire stays powered even with the deck off, or the key off. The amp stays on. Its in a 2002 gmc duramax 2500hd, with onstar adapted to the deck via the adapter they sell. The amp turns off if you disconnect the harness from the deck. I think the deck is messed up! What do you guys think?

Switched power is not connected to the constant battery lead is it?
