i am in desprete need of an amp for my thunder 8000's i found an amp that might fill my need but i do have a question about it. Its a kicker kx600.4 it says 300watts rms x2 when bridged since it a 4 channel amp if u bridge 2 subs it will be 4ohm is that right?
One more thing is that amp worth 190 dollars

the 8000's are single 4 ohm voice coil. use an mtx 801d or if you can afford a 1501d. and wire them in parallel. those subs will sound very bad off that 4 channel you are describing

8000's are availible in both single and dual 4 ohm voice coils so we need to know which you have to answer your question. And the 600.4 is definatly a 4 channel amp, not 2 channel or mono

Yes, make sure that the subs are 100% completely isolated from each other, no visitation rights, no weekend hook ups, well I hope you get the drift. Each sub must be in it's own enclosure.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
