How easy is it to install two amp? Do you have to buy 2 wireing kits and install them seperatly if so is there a good web site to go to explain everything?

how many watts will the amps be putting out?  This will determine what gauge wire to use.  Most likely you should run four gauge wire back from the battery into a distribution block, then two 4-gauge's out of the block into the amps.

Also, Rockford Fosgate makes a two amp wiring kit with these gauges I mentioned above.  It goes for about $150, which is completely overpriced in my book but oh-well.

Ya don't really need to run 2 separate power cables unless you are hooking up some serious amps.  I've had many systems all using 1 amp for sound speakers, and 1 amp for subs.  I use a Pheonix Gold distributor block to run 2 power wires from the main power cable.  Keep it simple:)

you already have an amp hooked up? What kind? what size wire are you using for the power wire? If its 4 gauge or better, i'd go with a distribution block. Its alot cheaper and easier that way.

the key word here is use a distributor block if your wire is thick enough to support both amps. it has one input where you put the wire from the battery into and depending on which kind you buy from 2 to 6 outputs for any items you want to connect in the back (amps, crossovers, eqs, etc)  make sure you buy 2 of them (one for power, one for ground)  good luck with the install!!

I used a 150 amp breaker with 4 gauge to a distribution block, from there 8 gauge to each amp.
