Ok, Im starting to confuse myself here. Some help would be appreciated.

What Im trying to finger out is this.... I have 2 12 inch w3 d4's. I also have a kicker zr360 which I would like to get the most power out of possible. According to kickers charts I can achieve 400 watts if I run 2.66 ohm bridged mono, 2 ohm bridged mono, or I can run 1 ohm stereo and get 200 x 2. Currently i dont know what would be more effecient. In any case I believe I want to run the subs in series inside the box and then run them parallel outside the box which if i know what im talking about in the least bit I would be able to run down to 2 ohms. Tell me if Im wrong. The next thing thats got me a bit stumped is the stereo and mono deal. stereo would be using both terminals on each side correct? Whereas mono would be essentially bridged? if thats that case why are they calling it bridged mono? Please, the head is aching, someone gimme some answers please please. K thanks.

OK here we go. Wire the sub in parrel which means connect both + terminals together and both - terminals together. Then hook up the + leads of the sub to the left +lead on the amp and the - lead on the sub to the right - lead on the amp. This will give you 2 ohm mono and will give you the best preformance out of your set up.

if w3 d4 means dvc 4ohm then you can only get an 1ohm load or a 4 ohm load on the amp.. both of which wont work well with that amp. you can run each sub in parallel to its own channel or in parallel series to a 4ohm load to the amp bridged.

Ok, according to Jl's website if I run the 2 subs in series I will be dumping a 4 ohm load. If I run that parallel into the amp wouldnt that cut the load in half, hence making it a 2 ohm load?

Im sorry I thought you only had one sub not two. My bad. Ya you can only wire in either 1 ohm or 4 ohm. All you can do is parrell the voice coils on each sub then take the + lead off sub A and Run it to the amps + left channel Then Take the Negative lead of sub B and connect it to the - lead on the amps right Channel. Now you are left with one negative lead from one sub and one positive lead from the other sub. Connect those leads together and you now have a series circut and a 4 ohm load. You really need more power though because those subs are gonna be left thirsty

to use the both subs on the amp bridged use this setup..

use this setup if you want to wire each sub to its own channel.

Go with door number 1 dude, both subs wired series / parallel and run to a bridged mono amp. Bridged usually means that the amp is more than 1 channel. In your case for example, you have a 2 channel amplifier that will bridge to 1 channel. This one channel is now mono, thus bridged mono. Mono means that the amp is either 1 channel or has been made to operate as 1 channel and sees only 1 signal.

Sweet guys, a lot of valuable info here. I really have a hard time with ohms law and i dont quite have er fingered out yet. Still I have one question for kettel. What is the ohm load on each diagram?
