Pros and Cons?   Which is the better configuration?  Coming off the receiver with the RCA's using the 3 preamp outputs for all three amps, or looping through the amps from one to the other.  The receiver is an Alpine CDA-9833 which has seperate sub controls so my first thought would be to run three seperate RCA's from the receiver to each individual amp.

Also, grounding?  Is it better to ground all three amps to the same spot or ground seperately?

It depend what amps you are running. If your using the the new MRDM-...01 series amps, you can use the amp cord and control up to like 11 amps I believe.  Otherwise in my opinion if youhave seperate RCA's for each amp than go from the receiver.  Then again if you are just using the amps for subs than you can parrallel all the amps with RCA's and it should be fine too.  You might loose loose independent control over the amps though.

Use the 3 separate rca outputs from the cd player. This will give you fade capability, and separate sub level control, something that you do not get if you daisy chain the amps together. Ground the 3 amps together if you can.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I will throw my two cents in for whatever it is worth and agree with Rob, you will be able to have independant control with three seperate RCA's versus "daisy chaining" them. Which is always an advantage especially controlling the sub level.
