I like Kenwood, the KDC-MP225 is a nice deck, its one of the entry level decks, but nice for anyone whom may be on a budget, or just not into all thefancy stuff, I just got a KDC-X679 in my truck a couple weeks ago, very nice deck, too many options for my needs though, You can hook up Kenwood amplifiers to this deck and controll all your amp settings from the deck, All of this years Excelon decks have this option along with many others that your average person will never use, But i find Kenwood decks are clean, though I have been contridicted on that, it could also be my setup that i listen to daily, but i also find it on installs, though its for short periods of time, personally, I think if you bought a Kenwood deck, you wouldn't regret it.

I love my Kenwood KDC-X579. The Sirius radio and mp3 portion sold me on it, but I agree with the options. It took a while to configure everything, but you can tweak everything humanly possible to your liking. I think you will like it. It also has the mp3 and Sirius options available.

Its a fine deck for the money. Now lets see how long it takes before Rob will say you would have been better off spending a couple bucks more and buying an eclipse deck :) Just buggin you rob

course we both know he'd be right...whenever possible i tell people if you have to choose between features and basic inherent quality, go with quality every time.....

Kenwood makes a good unit for it's price niche tho... no denying that.....

For once I can't say what already has been said. I'm sure that you have a great cd player that you will enjoy. Kenwood KDC-MP225 -- posted image.
