2001 Silverado firewall

I have a 2001 Silverado and i wanted to know if there is a hole already in the firewall that 4 gauge wire could go through. And if there isn't were might a good place be to drill a hole?

I can help ya here.  I have a 2002 Silverado. I didnt find any existing holes but if you look on the drivers side like just to the left of the brake pedal there is some black plastic with foam backing on it. You will see a  circular cutout. If you pull that back you will have a nice area to drill in. I had to drill from the engine side with a small air type drill because I didnt have a right angle drill. I believe there was even a small indent in the metal to help guide you. If you need more help just holler. Let me know how you come out.
