I was wondering if anyone can give me the proper specs on the Kenwood KAC-X801D amplifier? I read that it gives 800 watts rms x 1 at 2ohm, however, i read somewhere else that it can go down to 1ohm mono and give 1000 watts x 1 rms.  Does anyone know if it can handle a 1ohm mono load? Thanks, ....And also would anyone prefer Kenwood over MTX?   Thanks....

Ya, those amps arent meant for 1 ohm as far as I know so dont do it. And I would have to say that I would go MTX over kenwood any day of the week.
