Use a multimeter, hook up the positive lead to a known 12v source and hook up the negative probe to the suspected earth/ground wire. Anyone know how to add reatained acc. for radio to stay on until door opens, like the new gm cars???Did that work???????

Ya I know that, that was an answer I posted to another question and somehow it found its way into two other topics and not in the topic I posted it in. Its really strange, however I cannot help you with you question because I quite simply have no clue how to do it with out the deck being on whenever the door is closed. DEI makes a latching relay module that might do the trick...611T is the part number ( i think )Kevin Gerry
