Use a multimeter, hook up the positive lead to a known 12v source and hook up the negative probe to the suspected earth/ground wire. If you get 12 volts shown on the meter then you found it, if not then try again.

Anyone know how to add reatained acc. for radio to stay on until door opens, like the new gm cars???

Ya I know that, that was an answer I posted to another question and somehow it found its way into two other topics and not in the topic I posted it in. Its really strange, however I cannot help you with you question because I quite simply have no clue how to do it with out the deck being on whenever the door is closed. Unless mabye you could use a latching relay?

DEI makes a latching relay module that might do the trick...611T is the part number ( i think )
