Hi, I am currently looking for a very small sub for my Dodge Dakota back seat. Im not into having a huge sub box in the back, so what I am wondering is, what do people think a JL Audio 8" W7 would sound like with the recommended 250w RMS? Is it still a car shaking bass, or is it a total different sound than say a 10" sub would produce?

it is a different sound, thats not to say that you cannot get car shaking bass from an 8 or two  =). Also check out Image Dynamics

both their ID8V.2 D@ and D4 8's require 0.3 cu.ft sealed

I have been loving their products,  JL makes a fine product as well, have been happy with them in the past with the old W6's.
